play the single player on legendary to boost your skills. also, players tend to be more skilled on the ranked servers, so practice on the social servers to learn the maps and come up with some strategies. if you join a clan, many will have clan-only practice matches in which they will give you any advice you need, and also play matches and actually cooperate with you.
