job application- can spaces be left blank?

im trying to fill out a job application and after all the basic info (address, job history, education...) theres 3 questions that i have no answer for. the first is what organizations are you a part of, i have none, the second is after college graduation, what will be you greatest accomplishment, none, college is my only focus now aside from finding a job and the third is what do i hope to gain from this job, i think i can figure that one out

anyway, what do i put for the first two questions when i have no answer for them?

btw, i know none of you know me personally and cant answer these questions, but i need some general ideas

If the answer to the question is none then write none

If you are not a member of any organisation then none is a valid answer.

If you do have leave a question blank then you can explain at the interview why you did that.

Never leave anything blank on an app, simply place N/A if not applicable as mentioned above for question #1. This tells the employer that you saw the question however it is not applicable to you. Secondly, I think the next question is pertaining to your future goals after graduation. For instance, how will you contribute to the field/career in which you are applying for? Do you want to make partner in 10 years? Maybe your greatest accomplishment will be to advance to a senior level position while becoming active with a non-profit. If I saw this question left blank, I would think you are not goal-oriented and don't have any hopes to aspire to much in the near future. I don't believe this is the impression you want the employer to have. I hope this helps and good luck!

On the organizations question put N/A (Not applicable/does not apply), do not put none. Graduating college is a great accomplishment, put that you are focused on your education or focused on completing your education or something like that.

Its best to give your SSN when you are hired or being seriously considered for the job. Job applications change many hands before getting to the final decision maker for the company. Keep your private information private. These days ID theft is a very real threat and you need to take precautions. If they insist on the SSN try to deliver it yourself to the department that actually needs it. As an employer I request it when I have made up my mind on the applicant.

    N/A...which means not applicable.

This would be your best bet if you really do not have an answer.

Well, at least for the college question, you can put what you hope your great accomplishment will be after graduation.

the after college question is really designed to see what your long term goals are. do you want to own your own company, do you want to become the CEO of their company. do you just want to get married and have children. these answers tell them what they can expect from you as far as commitment to that company. it doesn't necessarily mean that you won't get the job if you answer incorrectly, but by putting "none" as your future goal, you might be placed in the mail room or on the end of a mop & bucket.
