Can a Dr. from mexico be prosecuted for sexual assault?
My sister in laws friend went for a consultation for a breast implant and the Dr was all over her. She told him to stop and he got very upset and walked out of the room. She wants to tell someone so that it doesnt happen to someone else but doesnt know where to go.

She told him to stop and he left the room (stopped)? Sounds about right to me. We are not in the 1700s when gynacologists performed their practice without looking for example, if your sister went for a breast implant consultation she must of expected the doctor to do a bit more than talking. To get an idea of how big your sister can safely go he would of needed to touch her breasts, the skin, stomach and arms.
Theres either more to it than what you have said or your sister in laws friend is over reacting.

No. If you go to Mexico to have any kind of surgery, YOUR on your own. There are plenty of Dr's who do breast augmentations in the United States. If you go to a doc in Mexico, you get what you get. Since its probably didn't happen here in the US you would have to try and file charges through the country of Mexico.....Good effin' luck!!

She can't lay charges against him if she went to Mexico to have this procedure done. She could try to talk to Mexican authorities but in all likely hood nothing will come of it. He can't be prosecuted in the US if he is Mexican and the crime was committed in Mexico. Tell her to get some counselling. And research if theres anyone in that community she could report it to that may be able to do something about it.

If this happened in the United States then yes, he can be. Anyone who breaks the law within the United States is subject to punishment. You need to go to the police.
