Have the answers on Y/A change your views?

In the R&S section: has anyone began doubting their beliefs because of answers they have received? Has anyone given up on their faith because of the answers they see...or has anyone gained faith because of the answers they read?

Thank you in advance

Not so much change except that I learn from others whether their answer is right or wrong.

And sometimes I learn I am wrong about something.

I am grounded in my faith. I would get in trouble if I doubted the Lords love for me. As that has already happened in my past. God disciplines His children.

The truth is NO-ONE can change your religon apart from YOU, you are yourself. You can loose and gain moral faith through Yahoo answers alternatively because the users are all different and similar religously, ofourse people may or changed or felt differently negatively or positively on their religon through Y/A, its almost impossible to doubt when something trys to 'knock you down', unless your wise, wiseness is key for your religon, you should strongly and firmly believe in your religon to not get 'hit' from strong views on Y/A.

Ofcourse people have been changed on Y/A, its rather obvious.

Very interesting question, Gods speed, Best wishes. Hope it helped!

Prior to Y/A R&S I used to think atheists were a bunch of well-meaning, harmless, misguided, dupes to be pitied.

Now that I have seen so many times their self-aggrandizing, their anger, their mocking disrespect, their arrogance, and their blind ignorance, I see them as ineffective, misinformed proselytizers whose folly needs to be stomped on by truth and real intelligence.

I also see a lot of people accepting doctrinal errors - which makes me sad.

    My faith has strengthened.

    Yes indeed.

I had no idea there are so many non believers at Y/A R&S. I have gained faith since this reality call. It is sad for me; because I can see Satan at work.

I have become much more Jewish since I've been here. And that is due mostly to the untrue slanders and lies other religionists have posted about Jews. I realized that in doing so they were insulting me and my ability to understand my own religion and they have made me realize how important it is for Jews to speak out and stay true to their faith.

Yes. I used to think believers are in general a lot more tolerant. That opinion I am beginning to doubt.

It hasn't changed my views on God, but I have learned a few things about faiths.

i haven't lost or gained faith or beliefs, no...

i have gained a healthy dose of reality about how much hate there is in the world...but it is as it should be...

Yahoo answers wasn't the only thing that changed me but it did help me see there was something wrong with Atheism when almost every atheist couldn't see a reason against incest or swinger relationships or sex before marriage.

Actually, thinking about some of the questions I've seen asked, and realizing I don't have answers for them, have caused me to rethink some things.
