Should I stick with Firefox 2 or change to Firefox 3?
Considering Firefox 3 is still a beta release...
And also a lot of plugings for Firefox 2 don't work on Firefox 3.

Is there any real reason to switch to 3? Are you dissatisfied with 2? I remember switching to 2 while it was still under development and I de-installed it within hours.
In other words: just wait.

Firefox 2 does have some memory management issues, but you are better off waiting for the official release of Firefox 3. Many of the add ons are not currently supported. Also, since it is a beta, there are some issue to be worked out with functionality. Just wait, by the time the official release comes, most (if not all) add ons will be ready to work with it as well.

Well since FireFox 3 is only in Beta you wouldn't want to waste you're time sending emails to Mozilla about bugs and such, so I wud suggest sticking with FireFox 2 for a while then when 3 grows a little bit then you can change. 2 seems just fine ;)

provide up on Firefox till its fastened there are at present purely too many issues to cost it as a competent piece of application. try Orca, ok-Meleon or Flock they're all loose Mozilla based browsers and are all speedier than Firefox. they have been produced via people who agree the Mozilla seek engine is suited yet that firefox has long gone incorrect someplace. in case you pass to firefox help pages or Mozillazine help pages you will see that the persons there are fairly boastful and blame each and every thing and all human beings for having problems with Firefox. no longer a competent sign. IE8 is pleased with a shell like Avant or Maxthon or slender browser. yet a browser that may no longer area of the OS will continuously be greater take care of. the fewer properly oftentimes happening it somewhat is the fewer in all threat it somewhat is going to likely be hacked.

I think the two points you make kind of answer it for you. Firefox 3 doesn't have enough to make me want to switch to the beta. I'm personally all about finished versions. I'll wait, especially since a lot of plugins don't work like you said.
