It was originally developed as 'ovomaltine' in Switzerland, where the name stemmed from the latin 'ovum' or egg. When the brand was brought over, the name was not significantly changed, so it really has nothing to do with the shape or the bottle or its content, rather its history.

I don't know, but my nephew is in the hospital and i guess they've been giving him morphine so i went to visit him and he said the real commerical should say " More morphine please"
