i have to do an oral report about a crime for my spanish class, and im having a little trouble with this translation. can someone please help me translate this? easy 10 points!
ok, so i wanna say:
"the thief was seen leaving the scene in a black car. the police are still looking for the thief."

"El ladrón fue visto huyendo de la escena en un vehículo *****. La policiá aún busca al ladrón."
Note: the word for car varies by country. In Spain and Mexico, "coche" is more common. In the Caribbean, "carro" is used. In Chile we use "auto." The more formal term is "vehículo."

“el ladrón fue visto dejando a la escena del crimen en un coche *****. La policia sigue buscando al ratero.”
(FYI: I used two words for thief, so the sentence wouldn't be repetitive. First, I used LADRON, then I used a synonym, RATERO.)
