"From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs"?

This was Karl Marx's solution for economic recovery. Is it now McCain's, Obama's, Clinton's solution for economic recovery? Do they all feel that the government is entitled to a portion of your income; that it has a lien on your life and on what you acquire in the course of sustaining that life? You work hard, save, don't default on loans or live beyond your means – why then, all three have plans for you. You'll be helping to mop up the "froth" in the housing market. You'll be bailing out those who haven't lived wisely. That's the philosophy. Be it Hillary, Obama or McCain – they all agree that it is up to the all-knowing central planner to determine how much of your life ought to be theirs.

Your thoughts?

Update:

1. Communism IS bad. Just ask the millions who have suffered under it.

2. Communism IS NOT Christian. Just ask the millions of Christians who have suffered under Communism.

There is some truth to that from what I see. I have looked at all three and read their plans for solving our economic problems. But do they have a better alternative? There is justice to the idea of letting those who invested foolishly reap the sorrows they brought on themselves, but there are so many of them that their problems are dragging down the rest of us as well. I don't like the idea of bailing out fools but if we don't then construction companies, home improvement companies and all of the other companies that make the products used or sold by those suffer. All the employs that work for them suffer. Our financial institutions suffer and loans become unavailable for everyone including those who might have good ideas that create jobs and prosperity. Its a shame that the rest of us will have to shoulder the burden created by greedy and foolish people but it might be that or a worse alternative.

Commie is not so bad...it is voluntary. It got a bad rap from the greedy ones...those who wanted special extra dachas and admission to MGU and Harvard Law or Yale as a perk.

This was not Karl Marx's idea. He was quoting French socialists, who themselves got it from Acts of the Apostles. Communism is CHRISTIAN!

I totally agree with you. I strongly believe this is NOT THE DIRECTION OUR COUNTRY SHOULD BE HEADED. Shame on our Politicians for pushing this agenda.
