What's your opion of Windows Vista?

Check to see which motherboard make and model you have, go to the manufacturers website (look under support) and download the appropriate sound driver for that motherboard.

You need to load the Sound driver for your sound card or motherboard, which ever applies to your configuration.

McAfee should have an update for Vista, but AVG works just fine too.

Now, for my opinion of Vista. I bought and installed it when it was first available, about 15 months ago. I have not had a problem with it. I find it to be quite a bit faster the XP, it has never crashed or blue screened, and all of my software works fine, except one very old game that was written for Win95. I'm thinking that when the get this first service pack working correctly, it will even be better. I am running it on both my main PC and my Laptop. I have no complaints.

Is McAfree working on vista?

You will need to find the windows vista version of the drivers for your sound card. You will have to go to the manufacturers website and pray they released a vista version.

As far as mcafee, the software is not likely compatible with vista either, check their website for more information or possible updates

It sucks so bad.
