How long do cold cuts last in the fridge?
I usually buy Boars Head Ham and Turkey. I keep them in sealed ziploc bags in the fridge. How long will they last? Sometimes I forget they're in there and a week will pass and then I'm wondering if they're okay to eat. Sometimes they seem fine, but I'm still a little scared to eat them so I wind up throwing them out and buying fresh. With the price of them, I feel like I am wasting money.

Deli meat usually lasts about a week. If it feels slimy or smells funny at all, throw it away. It's not worth the risk of food poisoning. If you notice after a day or 2 that you're not eating it quickly enough, freeze some of it. I freeze deli meat all the time and it thaws just fine.

you can tell by the feel of the meat as when no good they will have a think slim to them. It all depends on how long they have been at the supermarket as to how long you can keep them, but usually a week is when they start to go back.
So before you throw out run your fingers accross it to see if a slim feel and if not they are fine, boars head is very expensive, so don't waste it if you can help it.

They should last a week. If they start to get a bit smelly toss them.
Look at the deli bar and buy just a few slices that you can eat a little faster.
