Hey, you are not a idiot! How to choose a best answer to your question: Wait at least 4 hours, so other people can answer your question. then after the four hours are done, go to your profile and click on Questions. then click on the question that you want to resolved. they should have blue bars that say: Choose as best answer and click on it on the answer that you liked or that helped the most. then rate it 1-5 stars, (1 being the worst, 5 being the best) and comment it. then click OK. there! you have successfully chose a best answer! you will get 3 points for doing that which is choosing a best answer to your question and the person that you chose as best answer will get 10 points for the best answer and additional 1-50 points for the thumbs-up their answer has! also, try to choose a best answer before the 3 days or week is over because it will be too late to choose a best answer and you have to vote for your best answer instead of choosing it and hope that it will win the voters. Your question must be at least 4 hours old.

You will then see a blue button at the end of each answer "Chose as Best Answer"

Click on the one you want, rate it out of 5 stars and make a brief comment. then submit.

You will also get three points back for your effort (so your net lost is only 2 points instead of 5. Go and answer one question and you are back to where you started)

Just wait four hours, go back to the Q[go to your profile and go to questions], and there will be a button that says "Choose as best answer". Click on it, rate the answer, and leave feedback.

at the top of your page, there should be a link that says Yahoo!Answers Help...or you may recieve an email that will ask you to choose a Best Answer, and that will show you how...

you're not an idiot, hun, you're just new...you're only an idiot if you ask a stupid question (this is not one of them), and believe me, i've seen A LOT of stupid questions on here...
