Reccomend some funny science fiction books, please?

I enjoyed the Hitchiker's Guide to The Galaxy series and was wondering if there were any other science fiction books that were comedic? Spoofs or just plain funny in their own right? Any suggestions?

Actually you should pick up one of these three books by Harlan Ellison, they are short story collections and most are sci-fi though some would be considered horror.

The best for just a funny read is "Troublemakers."

My personal favorite which I read about twice a year is "Angry Candy" There are stories in this that will make you weep and laugh while doing it.

The last is "Slippage" a terrific book but quite some of the stories are kinda dark and more ironic than funny.

Also, you can pick up some of the books by Phillip K Dick. They are out of this world. Interesting, funny, and heart touching and philosophical.

The Great Explosion, by Eric Frank Russell. Difficult to find, but worth the effort.
