Should I get the Macbook air or Macbook pro?
My dad's going to trade in my umm... well, I don't really know which one it is, but it kinda looks like the imac, except the screen is bigger, the apple is smaller and silverer, and the black border around the screen isin't there.
the more people that say I should get the pro i'll get the pro. The more people that say I should get the air I get the air. So far, Mac book pro is winning. And while you guys answer, I'll be at apple.com looking at the videos they showed.

The MacBook Pro is a MUCH better computer. Some of the major pros for the MB Pro:
--3 USB rather than 1
--Superdrive
--200 GB HDD (vs. 80 GB)
--Supports twice as much RAM (up to 4 GB)
--Processor MUCH faster--2.4 GhZ intel core 2 duo rather than 1.6 core 2 duo
--A dedicated NVIDIA graphics card
For me it's a no brainer--get the Pro. Unless you really want to have a tiny, thin notebook.

Macbook Pro! No hesitation
Like Linux OS unless you really need the thinness get a Pro.
Its so much better than the Air.

Pro. For the very same $$$ you can get an MBP that's much more capable.
Mind carrying just a half-inch more in most directions? It AIN'T THAT MUCH beeger, believe you me! And with those extra $$$ in yer pocket you can buy some software or neat gadgets to add on yer MBP.
Yeah that lil' Air is cute, but check out only one USB. How ya gonna plug in a Mouse and an external CD at the same time? No removeable battery, no memory upgrade: Gotta pay Apple to do it for ya. Think about it, pay $99 for CD? (Why do they send you an OS CD anyway???) No ethernet port??? What if yer in a motel with no Wi-Fi???
An Air is basically just a laptop iPod! Get a Pro!

The pro,
The air is " Covenant and Thin" but is a very weak computer.
The pro offers overall much much more including:
A faster procceser, A stronger/faster hard drive, 3 usbs's(compared to one) and a lot more

The Pro is a lot more powerful.
The Air is a lot lighter and portable.
It basically depends on if you care about power or portability.

Why buy something so expensive! But get either one or get the one that if you drop it it doesnt break or at least dont get the skinny one
