How to delete old groups?

Question

On Myspace page, I had signed up for several groups that are no longer around, however they still show up on my group list and I'd like to get them removed.

Since the groups are no longer around, I can't go to their page and resign, so does anyone know another way to get them removed?

Nope.

One of the many bugs of Myspace - once the group dies, you cannot resign from it.  It is similar to the "dead friends" bug a few months back, when deleted accounts that were on your friends list were still counted.

Perhaps Myspace will resolve this bug as well, but for the time-being, you can only hide your groups on your profile.

I sighted up for that last year and my wife went through the roof when she found out. What I did is not open it before deleting it. After a few weeks it stopped.
