he's borderline yet possibly out. Seven all megastar video games is his maximum useful credential, this is an extremely solid yet no longer great entire. His merely league maximum efficient overall performance grow to be two times maximum efficient in blocked pictures (and blocked pictures in line with interest). A 2 time shielding participant of the twelve months. He gained a ring, yet he rode Shaq and D-Wade's coattails to that one. He averaged 17 factors and eight rebounds in line with interest over his occupation. He grow to be all NBA first team merely as quickly as, and 2nd team all-NBA precisely as quickly as. that may not a solid exhibiting. With Robinson, Ewing and Olajuwon interior the league on the comparable time, this is uncomplicated to make certain why this occurred. sometimes i might supply a guy in that project a smash, IF he grow to be demonstrably greater effective than, enable's say, any midsection from the 70s or any midsection from the 80s... in circumstances the place you have first pollHOF expertise doubling (or tripling) up at a place (Ewing, Olajuown, Robinson), you could decrease him some slack if he could have been fairly the main suitable participant at his place had he performed in a diverse era. yet he does not have been a suitable 3 midsection interior the 60s, 70s or 80s the two. in case you prepare baseball's Keltner record inquiries to Mourning, he fairly does not do all that properly. He merits an excellent style of credit for coming returned as he did from the midsection project, as properly as his above and previous the call of duty communiity provider, Zo falls merely a splash in need of HOF high quality. no longer that i does not decide for him on my team in a 2nd. i might take him as a teammate any day of the week... the guy grow to be fearless. .

I think he gets in, hopefully on the 1st ballot. He was clearly on his way before his health went bad. He came back and was far more than a team mascot. Without him, Miami doesn't win that championship in '06. Currently, Zo is the best player in Miami Heat history. That along with the rest of his accomplishments should get him in.

    14,000+ pts

    7,000+ rebounds

    2,000+ blocks

He has the numbers along with the number of times he has been an all-star, 2-time defensive player of the year, daily leader in blocks each season.. puts up a double-double on average

    etc etc

and to those who say he was "decent center?"

    2 time defensive player?

    7 time all star?

    2 time all-nba

    2 time all-denfensive

    if thats decent, whats "good"?

No! He was a decent center - may have been great if it wasn't for his injuries but definitely not Hall of Fame material.

yah he is. He would have had an even better career than he had if it weren't for his kidney problem and injuries. And the voters recognize that.
