Fastest 50cc scooter with minimal modifications?
I know these scooters are capible of 60-80mph with heavy modifications such as a bore kit, aftermarket carb, hi flow exhaust, etc. My question is which is the fastest in mostly stock form. NOT including cdi modification, variatior modification, carb rejetting and a STOCK EXHAUST. I have a 2004 Kymco ZX50 with a cdi mod, aftermarket variator kit and stock exhaust that I have gotten to 52mph on flat and almost 60 going downhill.

The fastest bone stock scooter with no modifications at all is probably the kymco super 9. It should hit 47 stock. The fastest with the slightest amount of modifications: variator derestriction, cdi box, and roller weights, is probably the aprilia SR50 ditech, possibly others with similar stats but the aprilia will hit 60-62 with those mods, add a pipe and some other cheap things and it will hit 65-69.

The fastest scooter with minimal modifications is in Chicago; AKA the Windy City. It has a 4'x4' sail and was clocked at 80MPH with a tailwind going downhill!

Dont buy a part that says a 50 will go 80mph They have lied to you already 2nd why bother and how are you planning to stop it ?? even if it has breaks on both wheels
