Wouldn't Me sending Unpaid Bills Back to Debt Collectors?

With a big slimy booger across the due amount be enough of a hint, that they aren't getting any money any time soon?

This hasn't been working for us for some reason. And the bills keep coming.

If you have a check book get rid of it. List all your bills and write down when they are due. Prioritize. You HAVE to have a house and lights and water right? OK so that is paid first. You Have to have a car to get to work right? OK so that is second. You NEED to eat right? Use coupons every chance you get. Buy generic. I know it does not taste as good but it will sustain you so you can continue working towards getting caught up. As far as clothing and that goes, go to goodwill. Go to garage sales. You can find decent stuff if you look. When you get paid cash your check. Look at your list of bills due.Pay your priority bills first. You can go to the post office or the bank for money orders to mail to the places you owe. Some places will write off your debt to them if you ask them to do it. Credits cards? Cut them up and throw them away. I have been there. I did this and raised my credit from a negative number to almost perfect! If I can do it ANYONE can!

PS, Boogers slimy or otherwise won't make it go away! Good Luck to you!

The longest a collection account can stay on your credit report is seven years from the date of last activity. To keep the collector from contacting you, send them a letter certified mail explaining that pursuant to FDCPA 805(c), you wish to cease all communication with them. If they call you or send you any written correspondence regarding the bill (other than to advise you that they will not send any more correspondence or they intend to take a specified action) after receiving the letter, they are in violation of the statute. You may also want to look into garnishment. Some state, such as Texas, do not allow wages to be garnished to pay consumer debts.

I find ignoring them completely works for me. Except for those evil bastages at the Infernal Revenue Service. They make a pit bull on meth look like a baby bunny. But the rest of them can kiss me where the sun don't shine!

Hmm...I don't think they accept boogers as methods of payment. Maybe they accept old Chuck Norris videos?

Funny and disgusting at the same time... Good thing that was your thought instead of saying you weren't sending them you know what LOL.

I usually wipe myself front to back and send them back in pre-paid envelopes.

But you're right: they just keep coming.

    TP!

I usually write a little note saying "Look, I didn't subscribe to the Joke of the Month club. Please stop sending me these."
