Alli is orlistat, the comparable drugs as Xenical. The FDA guidance says the protection for the time of breastfeeding is unknown, that there is no longer sufficient guidance to evaluate threat and to apply with warning. good success.

    11. what should a woman do if she becomes pregnant while taking alli?

Women who are pregnant or breast-feeding should not take alli. If a woman discovers that she is pregnant while taking alli, she should stop taking the capsules and consult with her physician about appropriate body weight and diet while pregnant or breast-feeding.

I agree with all the above! But breastfeeding is weightloss itself! Eat right, walk a little with your baby, and nurse exclusively and you'd be surprised how fast the pounds come off!

I'd consult a doctor about it but you shouldn't use anything that isn't natural while breast feeding. You shouldn't even drink alcohol or caffiene. So I would say .. they will more than likely tell you no.

I would not recommend it as it will be transferred from your milt to baby...Consult with your doctor.
