Yes. God will not hold you accountable for your ignorance on earth. You soul was bound by a body of matter and influenced by environment. Live by the basic laws of morality and you will be fine. Of course, hardcore christians will thumbs down me and tell you different, but I have a difficult time taking seriously a person who lives by someone else's interpretation of the word of God. I'm a free thinker and can do my own reading.

Jesus said in one place in the bible that "if you die in yor sins where I am you cannot come." Whether you believe in God or not does not play into the equation I assume you believe there is a God and that there is a need for repentance before you can go to heaven or you would not even ask this question. So read the bible and pray and God will give you the answer.

Because the penalty for sin is death, God's law says there can be no forgiveness without the sacrifice of a life. In the Old Testament, God introduced a system of animal sacrifices for His people to follow. But those sacrifices were only preparatory and temporary, looking forward to what was to come.

Realization must be now and not after death. Atonement and asking of forgiveness for any wrongdoing one has committed must also be now and not after death. If you have to do something worthwhile do it now and not after death. There is no more chance after death because death is the end of this earthly life. After death another life awaits you and me. And that is whether you and me will be eternally happy with God in heaven or eternally damn in hell, the place of damnation.

When I was an Atheist, we used to tell people, "why does God really care whether or not we believe in him." As a Deist, I do not believe in original sin. I'm unsure whether or not there is an afterlife, but if there is I think it will only be better. I do not believe in Hell, nor the negative image that the Bible uses to portray God. I don't believe in hell simply because it goes against my God-given reason. God is a loving and forgiving God. Do not live in fear of what will happen to you on the other side of death.

People go to Hell for one reason only, and that is denying Jesus Christ ( JOHN 3:16) . hell is ' the absence of God' . The Bible says" today is the day of salvation". Not later when it's to late .

No, sorry that's not how it works. God gives you ample opportunity to seek and find Him here on earth. That's why he gives you the Bible and many other resources. You have to make your choice here on earth. Once it's made, it's made. You can't "wait and see". If you do choose God now, you will not regret it for a minute though!

No it is too late at that point. Yes the BIBLE does teach forgiveness but that is on earth. Everyone who does not believe is going to realise when they go to hell that they were wrong.

So you're asking if it works like the prison system...break a law...do your time...then get out and not break the law again...think about it as a multiple life without the possibility of parole sentence...
