Has anyone else heard the new R.E.M.? I listened to it twice?

I bought it last night and was pleasantly surprised with it. I really liked Supernatural Superserious so I bought the Cd and I am glad I did.

R.E.M. was my fave band for years. Heck I even liked "up", when most did not. With that being said, it seems like every album since "Up" has been called a return to the old days in one way or another. It definitely is the most guitar oriented album they've done since Monster, which I can appreciate. In terms of the tunes themselves...the jury is still out. While it immediately sounds like a better record than the last two, I've already grown a little tired of a couple of the tracks. Not a good sign....

I've listened many times. Love it. Always getting random cravings for a song. So may top tracks.
