What would the penalty be if you got caught growing Marijuana in Georgia. I'm only talking 1 plant that's used for personal use with no selling involved. What's would likely happen if an officer accidentally rolled up on your plant?

Mockery of miracles wrong

In the "Dilbert" comic strip, the mockery of miracles performed by Jesus Christ is gratuitously sacrilegious and provocative (Business, March 10). Suppose the cartoonist had chosen to mock Muhammad. The AJC might have found itself paying for added security at its building, as newspapers in Denmark did. Apparently the AJC knows it can count on Christians to turn the other cheek.

As you may or may not know Sunday alcohol sales are illegal in Georgia except at bars/clubs, etc. First let me say that I could care less whether it's legal or not since I've been buying for Sunday on Saturday for like 20 years now so whether you can or not is not an issue for me.

However, last year a bill was passed that would allow each community to vote on whether or not they would allow it and the Governor said NO WAY and vetoed it. Now it is coming up again and he says he will veto it again. How can he do that? I thought the point of America was to be able to vote and voice our opinions on what we want and don't want. Is he allowed to just decide on what and when we can vote?

Since there is no plan to ever broadcast in 1080p what exactly is the advantage to owning a 1080p TV unless you plan to get Blu-Ray? Especially on TV's as small as 36" and 40" you won't even notice a difference. I just don't understand spending an extra $1000 for no real picture difference. Can someone help me understand?

1st off, the Govt will end up putting a sin tax on it and making it even more expensive than it is now.

2nd They'll probably make the penalties even tougher for growing your own so that you will be even more afraid and have to buy theirs.

3rd Now we got a bunch of inexperienced smokers out there driving around and acting stupid.

4th They'll probably make you register or something so they can keep track of who does what.

I mean it makes absolutely no sense! In most (if not all) states it's a misdemeanor as long as you only have enough for personal use anyway. So it's not like you're going to get into big trouble with the way it is now.

Is it just because there are so many people who want to smoke but are afraid because it's illegal so they want it legalized? It would be treated just like alcohol so oyu wouldn't be able to drive while smoking or walk down the street or fire up at the local Wal Mart.

Please help me understand why legalizing is better.

read mystery, law & detective novels or are they too cheesy for you guys to get into? I read a lot of this kind of stuff so I was curious. I enjoy the serious stuff such as John Sandford, The Lincoln Rhyme novels, etc but I mostly like the more humorous ones such as Ed McBain and even the Robert Parker Spencer novels. Where I live they have some pretty sweet police rides like Vipers, Mustangs, etc that frickin wail. How do they decide who gets to drive the souped up cool ones and who's stuck with the Caprice Classic? Although I guess the Caprice was more 80's style you guys know what I mean.

either treated you badly, arrested you for no reason or some other valid reason for not liking them, or are you just on the bandwagon? Please relay TRUE experiences that happened to you if so. Most all I hear are general statements like "man, they all suck" "all they do is eat donuts", etc. I want to know what they REALLY did to you that was so unacceptable.

Does this mean that if your home was being broken into or some other crime is being committed upon you that you would not call them? I mean if they're all so bad you'll just take your chances and work it out on your own right? What would you do exactly?

In other words, has there ever been a time when you pulled someone over to maybe even just give them a warning, but when you got to them they were such a**holes or so disrespectful that you ended up giving them a ticket. I think that would be kind of funny. Especially if you told them after the fact they did it to themselves.

I remember from TV back in the 70's and 80's that most officers whether Detectives, patrol, etc used to always have partners. Ponch & John, Starsky & Hutch, etc and I'm pretty sure that's how it was in real life too I think.

Nowadays it seems I hardly ever see officers on patrol with partners. Was this something that was intentionally done to get more officers in more places or was it for some other reason. Or, am I just imagining the whole thing to begin with.

your home, auto, etc. Is this the case say for just ONE plant that you may use for your own personal use. I can see if you bust some guy with enough to distribute, but since possession less than an ounce is a misdemeanor do they make the same allowances when growing?

any temp fix out there until I can get it somewhere to be professionally repaired? Basically, the top of the window has come loose from the convertible top itself and is beginning to hand down 3-4 inches from where it was attached. Any ideas?
