Why does it seem that there are more atheists trying to disprove religion, than people seeking religious truth

it's not..there are still many religious people on earth rather than the atheists.it proves that the religions are true and it's not fake.

Atheism isnt a religion. Defying atheism would be believing in a god... so no to your first question... Spreading the belief that there is no such thing as god is what we are doing. We don't believe in a higher power....

Dude, I just upgraded my cable package. I now get five Jesus channels, but no atheist channels (Unless you count Discovery and National Geographic). Atheists exist in a society that legislates morality, in which the separation of church and state is seen as threat to personal wellbeing by a significant number of people. The presentation of Christianity is woven into experiences of daily life without a second thought, but publically questioning these beliefs makes one a rabble rouser. Whatever. (Jesus was a rabble rouser)

the reason why we always share our opinion is because we are trying to make the world a better place! until religion dies out there will never be world peace because religious people's brains are soooo restricted meaning a very high percentage of the population is very very unintelligent! we are trying to help!

There are many people here who came seeking religious truth. During a long enough stay, you may come to realize that religious truths are harder to distinguish then ever imagined.

Many people in here are simply trying to justify their own lifestyle choices. On way to try and proactively silence your conscience is to attack anything that causes you to doubt your convictions. This is why there is so much anger. you wouldn't see Santa or the Tooth fairy attacked in this manner because no one really believes they exist.
