If Max Mosely goes - do you think Paul Stoddart will come back?
I miss Paul Stoddard - he was one of the characters of F1, always fighting his corner with arguments based on common-sense and immense passion for his team.
I don't think Max should go (and I'm really not a fan of the chap) but his sexual fantasies are his own business - and I didn't see anything racist in this situation.
But if he did go, it would be great to see Stoddard back on the grid! If Bernie wants characters and ratings, there's your man!
Dan.. that was the exact thought that prompted me to ask the question...

Unfortunately I don't think so. F1 is a rich snobs game now. Gone are the days of old. Next they will be discarding overalls for morning suits. You are right though, all the characters have gone. I think this is chiefly by design of those involved. There is so much conceit and arrogance in pit lane and FOCA that it has spoilt the sport.

How inspiring would that be to see a man like paul Stoddart return. But I don't think it will happen, non unless he's bought himself a conglomerate.b

hopefully, would be nice to see an actual motor sport fan, not a businessman in charge of an f1 team again, (Gerhard Berger excluded)

It would be interesting to see if he looks into buying the half of Toro Rosso thats on sale... Because then he'd be buying half of his old team back...
