I think a lot of people who were expecting "CHANGE" will be disappointed. His programs, if they somehow pass Congress will be very costly so taxes will raise. I really hope he keeps his word and brings us out of Iraq, but I doubt it.

Well Bush will be gone.
Hopefully everyone will stop dancing around that $10 trillion debt and pay the thing and the dollar will rise. Yes that does mean taxes have to go up. No way around it. That's why things are bad now.
I think the military will be questioned as to where exactly are they spending our money. $1.2 billion for 1 airplane?
A dose of common sense will prevail. He's the only one I've heard use that term.
Sadly the racists who swear he'll build a basketball court and have barbeque's nightly will get more vocal and an impeachment process will be started. It's probably in the works now. And a molehill will become a mountain.

Much depends on his choices for cabinet members. If he surrounds himself with true intelligence, there will be change for the betterment of all. If he chooses people based on a like mindset, we're in for much turbulence and not much change.
It takes more than a President to redirect policy and change.

1) The rich will continue to get richer.
2) The poor will get richer.
3) The middle will be crushed.
Obama is a socialist bordering on communist. If you earn between $50,000 and $150,000 per year he's coming to take it away from you.
And don't believe he will take it from the rich. The rich and powerful will always find a way to beat the system.

Nothiing will change until we stop having professional politicians and limit the president and the congress to ONE term.
