Is there a way to burn LimeWire files to a disk?
Maybe I'm just being dumb, but I can't find a way to burn files to a disk, or transfer them to another program so I can the disk through that. I only have the basic version, though. LimeWire is a great program, but it won't do me any good if I can't burn my music to a disk!

Do you have Windows Media Player installed, and are you using Windows XP?
If it's a yes to those two questions then insert a blank CD-R (obviously lol) and go to My Computer >> CD Writer (Or DVD-RAM, DVD-RW drive, or whatever drive can burn CD-Rs)
Then you should be in an empty folder.
You can't just drag files from the LimeWire application, I've tried this. You have to open up the actual folder that your files are downloaded to. To ascertain the path of this folder, in LimeWire go Tools >> Options >> Saving (in the list of options in the left pane).
Then it should say the path.
Open up that folder, then drag files from that folder to the folder you opened before (the CD-R drive).
When you have all the songs you need, click "write these files to CD" (on the left pane), give the CD a name if you want to, click next, choose "make an audio CD".
Media Player will open, click "copy" if you're happy with the songs, and there you go.
If you're using Vista, I've never used this OS so I can't help you. If you're using Linux you should know the answer to this question!!

will you teach me how to get limewire for free? and if you find the files (not within the program but your computer) you can change the extension to match itunes files then you can get a free download of the itunes application wich will in turn allow you to burn a disc more easily.

Yeh its very simple your files are saved to Documents\LimeWire\Saved. To burn them highlight the ones you want right click, send to and then choose the drive (it should be listed) otherwise download nero and use that to burn it.

hi, you prefer CD burning utility which comprise Nero. You tell Nero you ought to make an MP3 audio CD which may well be performed on a typical stereo (the wizard makes it particularly common) and then upload your documents and burn. Google Nero for a unfastened trial. thank you. Ian
