What kind of jerk would leave a pregnant woman?

I was with this guy, found out I was pregnant, and he said, "my life is over", when I told him I was pregnant. =(... He didn't care about my life, or the baby's! only himself...

She is 14 now, and he still does not see her. He offered to see her "once in awhile" when she was 2, that was not good enough! He had another daughter, 3 years older than mine... that he saw all the time! personally, I don't think he wanted to deal w/ the crying in the middle of the night =(... Well, he also cheated... it would have never worked, anyway... we could not stay together... =(... he blames me for not "accepting his womanizing ways" that he's not there for her...

This "idiot" is now "dying" of a blood disorder, do I care? nope!

Yes, I agree w/ another answerer... women sleep w/ men thinking that will keep the man by their side, that's not true sometimes...! =(...

some women leave after they have the baby, and leave the baby w/ the man, that happens too, lol... sigh =(...

for the comment about people should not stay together if they don't love each other...well, you should love each other before you have sex! love is a choice... I truely believe staying together for a child is best... you should change for that baby!

My soon to be ex husband. He is now dating this huge fat ugly chick who is younger than he is. She didn't care I had just had the baby etc..so they deserve each other. He is a narcissist and I guess he couldn't take the fact he was not number one when I became pregnant.

Most of the answers I see here are blaming the chick, as in my situation I take blame..I am not perfect...however we were married and he chose to lie about things, I kicked his butt out and now he is with his new women. I had to file for child support for my daughter to get anything from him.

Not all relationships are like mine though I realize..but it does take two to tango and no matter what if the guy helped make the kid, he does have a responsibility to support it.

People do stupid things all the time. If the guy didn't want to be a dad the chick can't force him to be one..not physically anyway. Money is not really a substitute for not have a father around. The kid is probably better off though if the guy tends to bale when things get rough.

Well it went out the window when men and women stopped using Birth Control. Use to people were more careful, and waited till they older to start having sex. Go on over and see in the parenting section how many ignorant children , and I do mean children have no clue about what makes babies and how to stop that from happening. They ask question about could I be pregnant if he does this or that. Hardly any of them say they were using protection.

A jerk would, but another good question is why are so many women sleeping with men they hardly know, getting pregnant by them then whining cuz this man she doesnt really know left her? Women are giving it away way too easily to men they dont even really know. It takes time to know someone. So they are just as responsible for their decisions as the man is.

guys are guys and i think society should wise up and admit guys adore sex and want it and when they get it move on to get some more. i think it was her fault too and i dont give a rats *** if she was in the moment and didnt know what the hell she was doing. i dont understand living in this modern day and age when we have access to condoms and birth control why not use it? by nature women are destined to have the kids...sucks...yes i know...but jesus no guy wants to spend the rest of their life taking care of a kid they didnt mean to have of course most men wouldnt. but some guys are a lot more mature than that i guess and want to accept responsiblity...but i still blame the girl and im a girl too so it isnt a sexist thing

You have to also see that the woman choose a man who would run away while she is pregnant. Why would she choose a guy like that?

Of course the guy sucks for bailing on her but there are other issues there that you cant see on the surface. maybe he found out it's not his kid? who knows! you should stay out of it.

A jerk who is very self-centered and only looks out for himself. a jerk who thinks its only the girl's fault and responsibiity since she has to be the one to carry the burden. a jerk who is just a jerk.

It takes two to get pregnant and only one to avoid it.

I don't know, where are they at? Someone who's irresponsible, is how I view them. So, they probably have quite a few excuses for their behavior. Stupid, I say.
