Wouldn't the government be wiser to concentrate on drug-dealers if they are serious about child protection?

It's not just drug-dealers that are harmful to children. It's parents, boyfriends, & girlfriends of a parent that are often the most harmful to a child. The government should spend more money on parenting classes if they are serious about child protection.

I hate to tell you, but in the Netherlands they have legalized hard and soft drugs and have shown that not only has the crime rate gone down but so have the incidents of addiction. If we focused less on the "drug war" and more on parenting properly, this would be a non-issue. Parents love scapegoats, the sad fact is it all comes back to them and their lack of teaching their children what's right and what's wrong. The worst part of the drugs and the drug war is the violence that has come about because of restrictions placed on them. Sort of like the mafia during prohibition. Our prisons are overcrowded because of harmless drug users, instead of saving space for pedophiles and maniacs. Give me a break.

As opposed to what? If you mean trying to keep paedophiles off the internet, then no. These people are vile excuses for human beings, as are drug dealers.

If they do so how would they get the millions generating from the business. Secondly the child problem is not of much importance to them.

The government don't care about children, they care about making money and spending it on themselves.
