Yes..you forgive your brother..it's more comforting that to retailate and have anger within your loved ones..don't let the anger build up..you'll break the good times you've had with your brother..be persistent..and do it because you know it's right and pleases God..

Yes God wants you to forgive him. But only in your heart, it doesn't mean you have see him or talk to him again,, because if he really hurt you God feels your pain and doesn't want you to feel it anymore. You should just move on and forget about it, you may still have the memories there, but you should forgive him.

Forgive him. But not because of God, because in the end, not getting along with him is not worth it.
PS, want some advice? Dont do things because God would want you to, do things for common sense, not some thing which DOES NOT exist.

Let me ask you this.................If you hurt God, would you want God to forgive you? God forgives us all everyday for the hurtful things we do to one another. Maybe we should make more of an effort to do the same.

Certainly, we are to forgive, and I have many, many, and many more times. Anger reaps years of bitterness, hatred and just pure negativism. It causes us to look at life and everyone in it with disdain. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting necessarily, although in time thoughts of hurts diminish, once we have put it behind us.
Source(s): My source is biblical. Some Scriptures Matthew 7:12; Ephesians 4:31-32...and others...however psychologist now tell us we should forgive to get on with our own lives. - Anonymous1 decade ago
i would forgive him but i would confront him tell him how you fell. Its o.k. to be mad and angry just don't let it control you. I think we forget that Jesus made a whip and drove people out of the temple.

God doesnt care for your petty little arguments; it's a common trait among siblings to fight, relax.
