is it unattractive if i wear these clothes?

I'm a 14 y/o girl, and I wear skinny jeans, band shirts, and bright colored hoodies almost everyday. I love my style and it's what makes me different from all the rest. Be a leader, not a follower.

no, that looks awesome! They all look the same, it's awesome to look different. I wear that kind of clothes too.

The other day, a few weeks ago, some girl at the school told me that I should wear Hollister and die my hair light brown and wear more makeup. What right does some girl I don't even know have to tell me what I should look like? I would rather be hated for who I am then loved for who I'm not. So it's good that you're different. It's not ugly on a girl at all. Maybe preppy guys wouldn't find it attractive, but that should be alright, because they're all the same.

and it's okay to feel like you don't fit in. just shrug it off(which is something that I really wish i could do...)

I wore pretty much the same thing right up until about a month ago. I am slowly changing... I still wear jeans everyday but I dress it up sometimes. I was told I am scene but thats fine! I say stay with it... keep your own style and dont follow the norm... If I did then I def wouldnt have my own style or tats or peircings... I stepped out of that box and you should too!

if you feel that you are unattractive, try wearing some bright colors and switch it up a little bit, but make it YOU and plz for the love of god don't turn prep!! lol

Well this is the honest truth - pajamas guys wont mind, tshirts yes they will, shoes, it depends but if youre wearing some skate shoes then yes, a guy would much rather see his girl in flowery or girly things with a cool design on it or something than in something he thinks would look good on him.

i moved in w my stepmother one time, i was pretty far from home, all the girls wore cute little american eagle outfits and i just bummed it everyday wearing my own style. they thought i was wierd. you dont have to change for anyone, if you like the way you look then just be that way. i was very antisocial too, maybe its not just your clothes. go up and have conversations, if they think theyre too good to talk to you because the way you dress, then why would you want to fit in with them anyway!?

No it's not ugly. Who cares if your the only one wearing it? Wear what you like.

Who gives a crap.. I am in high school too and that is exactly why I hate it. I am a senior and yes I wear preppy clothes like a lot of people, but not bc of them. I do me and if they dont like it ohh well...I get sick of people being so selfish and close minded..

The only advice I can give you is..

be yourself, if that is who you are..be you. It is called high school for a reason and it only lasts so long. If you do not feel like you fit in bc people make you feel uncomfortable bc of the way you dress, then you shouldnt be friends with people like that anyways

if i saw a pic i could tell you for sure. but from what i have seen i dont think it looks ugly on a girl and i respect that you where what you wanna wear i wish more people could be like that

there are plenty of guys that find what you're wearing just their style, more attractive than the prep look just because it's you. and it can still be sexy, skinny jeans always are, and a t shows that you know who you are, and confidence is as sexy as it gets.

another thing to remember is that people gravitate toward people like themselves, so unless you want to attract pretty boys, don't dress into the prep thing, be yourself and you'll find another original kid who loves you for it.
