Disney World in early June?

Anyone know when Florida schools let out for summer? I'm planning a trip the first or second week of June and wondering how crowded it is. School lets out in mid-June where I live so I'm hoping Florida is the same. Anyone with personal experience during that time let me know how it went.

Unfortunately disney is busy weather the schools are in or out. I think the schools break in mid june. Thats when my friends do. I am from the UK and the children break here in mid july but I am taking mine early june so them being in school does not mean they wont be going at that time.

Dont worry though even when busy it does not feel overwelming. I am sure you will have a great holiday

    Have a great one.

Disney World will be very crowded all summer, from May thru Sept. But they do a really good job of moving the crowds. Go as early as possible during the day, then a break around 2 for lunch and a nap then go back till close. Pace yourself. Don't rush, take your time.

You are not on a schedule. And you parents remember you can get a drink in the hotel bars. Have a great time.

I am also traveling in early June and I know that it will be crowded, but not as crowded as later in the month or over the holidays. I think you will be fine as long as you have a plan. We have traveled during busy seasons before and we were fine as long as we had a good plan. I don't have a lot of time to spend on planning, so I use a service called Custom Mouse Plans. They are really great! They created our itinerary and park touring plans for our last three trips and I will never go to Disney without them again! The touring plans kept us well ahead of the crowds. We never waited more than 10 minutes for any ride, even on New Year's Day! Worth every penny of the $150 they charged us, considering the vacation cost us over $5000 and we got so much more out of it thanks to them!

It will be quite busy--Florida schools let out and return earlier than most--they return in early August, though I understand this is changing. June's a little less busy than July...but not much...

I just released a new site for first time visitors--it has been really well received--and is at http://yourfirstvisit.net/ There's a bunch of useful stuff there, but see in particular this page to predict crowd levels: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-first-fami...

    Hope this helps!! Dave

If the only time you can go is over the summer breaks, do it as early as you can. First week of June is busy, but not horrible. Second week of June is really busy, but sort of manageable. After that, you're on your own!

I would plan on visiting as early as you can after Memorial Day weekend. That's usually the 'slowest' time of the very, very busy summer months.

I was in WDW in early June last year, and it wasn't all that bad. MUCH better than peak attendance times (i.e. Spring Break). The lines were a bit long, but were by no means unbearable (I'd still get a FastPass for the most popular attractions).

it's going to be very busy, yet as lengthy as you intend forward that's particularly no longer a great concern. the hassle-free temperature for the time you're going would be from low 70's to mid or extreme ninety's. As for factors of interest, i might easily propose each and all the mountains interior the Magic Kingdom (area Mountain, massive Thunder Mountain (railroad) and Splash Mountain. i might additionally hit the Tower of Terror in Hollywood analyze and the Rockin' curler Coaster, the two one in each of that are relaxing! In Animal Kingdom i might do the holiday Everest, that is in all risk the terrific or on the threshold of terrific experience at Disney worldwide in terms of thrill element. In Epcot i might do the Soarin' and probable the venture area and look at out song. desire you have relaxing! And chuffed early birthday!! :)

I have been to Disney in summer and winter, both times are busy. They do such a great job of moving their lines that it really isn't that bad. Make sure you bring lots of water, it is hot there in summer.
