thank you for your input. these are both laptops and i am heading to Iraq for military.
yeah i was looking at many places. dell and bestbuy and everyone who makes computers. dell i am not happy with for many reasons right now. this computer i saw was on ibuypower.com and i have bought from them before. great computers. most people also with the same specs are way more. and dont have all i wanted. some i saw were only 1 to 2 gigs of ram, or were amd athlons or had ati video cards. all of which i dont want. i want 4 gigs, a good video card and geforce i know from exp i like a lot better, and i want intel, also a huge hard drive, like the ones i picked are both 200 gigs with 7200 rpms. other ones i say were only 100 gigs or some were 160 gigs but 5400 rpm. i also like this site because they are helpfull and you can pretty much customize your computer and not pay high end dollars for it. like alienwere computers you get the same thing but twice the money. but thanks again for input. i think i am looking more towards the second one for sure if i get the extra $

in a nut shell, the main reason the second system is much more expensive is the graphics card
the 8800m gtx is simply overpowering, and the 8600 one is pretty pedestrian in comparison !
yes, the processor T9300 is better than the T7700 > but that does not count for very much
now that you mention high end games, the 8800 simply stands out and steams the 8600 one
(and mind you premium laptop graphics are indeed an expensive proposition)
hope i could help some bit
& btw, i can recommend you another cheaper option to the Battalion 101 M570RU, & with similar performances that !
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8651...
ring up those fella's & ask them to pre-build your system with the T9300 processor .... and you end up paying approx $1600., read the customer reviews and it should be evident that plenty many people have taken that route

For the money you are willing to pay, I would strongly recommend you buying a DELL Notebook PC and at the same time inquiring details about exactly what their FULL accidental insurance covers in view that you are about to deploy to In-Harm's Way. One of the chief advantages about why Dell is a good long-run choice is the number of PCs it sells to the Government agencies and Corporate businesses that makes it easy to find and reasonably priced when one needs replacement parts like Notebook PC batteries, RAM etc
Hope the Above Info Helps and God's Speed!
