I can take the hd and place in another laptop and read it. So my question. Or one of them. Can I create a recovery disk? I had one done when I first got but we had a house fire (renting) so lost my CDs.

Second question then, if so, is there a way to create into a thumb drive instead of cd? My new laptop I was able to do this.

The old laptop is an Asus g74 with Windows 7 64 bit. Was a solid machine and would love to get it running again. Hoping to not have to get another Windows cd. I can get more info if needed later. Heading to work.

I have another hd from an older Asus laptop. It already has an is on it. Tried that just to see and it boots up but can't do things. Which is probably due to wrong hardware and software drivers installed. If there is a way to use that instead then I am open to that as well. Thanks.

i know little about tires. like what the numbers mean. and the tires are the same except the width. the 235 is wider. so could i still replace. i have a kia optima 2004.

i have a asus g74 series laptop. and as it says it does not have either. and i have looked online and cant find anything either. but maybe someone out there knows something. i also looked to see if maybe there was a fn key but nope. most of the time it would be fn + f5. and normally it looks like a little lock.

i know a lot of laptops are trying to rid these keys to save space. even though my laptop now has a calculator key instead which i could easily go into and open that up.

my older asus has the num lk and the scr lk key both on the same key.

the main reason is cause you can do special characters with it. you have to have num lock on and then you can do alt and number combonations to get different things.

if you know how to do those without a num lock or scroll lock that would be great. or if you know how to activate num lock without it being on keyboard that would be great too.

also note that the on screen keyboard does have a scroll lock. but when we use that and then hold alt and do the numbers, nothing happens.

ok so my computer will let me strafe jump the the left. which for me si shift (sprint) + a (strafe left) + w (forward) + turn mouse and space (jump). however if i do it all for right and the only thing i am changing is a with d for strafe right. and when i hit space to jump it wont jump? i added alt for my right strafe just to see if it would work being that my alt key was not in use. and it did let me jump. just for some reason it wont with d.

any suggestions on how to get it to work? and i dont mean to change the key to something else either. thanks

i just got a new laptop and wanted to post what the fps are with different settings for games like call of duty black ops. i know fraps works but i think it only works when you are in game and not for your desktop. also not sure if it works with audio as in being able to narrate what i am doing as well as capture the sound of the game (prefer to narrate but both would be great).

prefer it to be free as i can just do fraps and post on YouTube and type a description. i have a headset mic.

what do you think. the site is given. so you can check out the specs. i got it for 1000. but normal is 1250. pros is that it is a 320 gig at 7200 rpm site messed up and says it is 5400 rpm. also has a 9800 gt 512 card site says it is gs. 4 gigs of ram 2 gigs are allocated to the graphics card if it needs it. but tech it has 4.5 gigs. the 512 mb plus te 4 gigs. the video card is dedicated which i like cause then ican upgrade later and not change the motherboard. it is a duo at 2.26 ghz however has a clocking button so when you play games you can set it to 2.5 ghz without hurting the system. it is meant to run at 2.5 they just hav it at normal 2.26 to keep it cooler unless you need to run it faster. has a keypad. also like that it has a button that lets you turn on and off the touchpad. so when i use my mouse instead of the touchpad and play games i can turn it off.

anyone else have this problem. when i type online like i am doing for this. now and then when i hit a key it wont register that key. so i have to backspace to redo the key. however when i use my notepad, wordpad, microsoft word 07 it works fine and doesnt miss a key. ex is if i am typing and then i type time i will push the buttons but get tie. even though i hit the m key. dont know if i am typing to fast and the internet speed is slow so i get ahead or what. anyways anyone else seem to have this happen and know what i am talking about? thanks

i have been trying for 3 years now to get money. and i thought i was going to get paid. i have gotten 1000 total so far. this was for 1606 i switched to 1607. also it was direct deposit. when i switched i am now told i cant get direct deposit and they are taking a long time. i was finaly told i am getting a check sent to me. instead of direct deposit. i was like thats cool. then i was told they sent it to a po box that is not even in my state. and they dont even have that listed.

anyone have the same issues. and also why cant i call st louis instead of going thru the va because st louis is the one who does the pay. does anyone know the number to them so i can call directly or email them directly and not go thru va. i hate using 3rd party it also takes to long. take the va 10 days to do something then another 10 days to get to st louis for them to do something and then another 10 days to get back to the va and then another 10 days for them to get back to me. thanks

i would like to know what one i should get. i want to beable to play cod4 maybe even crysis. i believe they all will play. crysis says you need 2.2 ghz or faster dual core. however it is centrino and i believe the 1.83 would equal about a 2.2 or faster intel. not sure. but for price and gaming which should i go for. if i could i rather pay for the 1000 dollar one but if need to i will upgrade. i am going to Iraq. if the cheaper one will or could play cod4 fairly good then probally get it. thank you for imput. there are 3 totall i am thinking about.

ok so i have the cd. i did the whole devmode deal. says the cheat cant be executed at this time. i did the devmode thing a million ways. with spaces and all like everyone says. did anyone else have this problem and were you able to fix it. and if so can you help please. the cheats are not used for multiplayer, they cant be used i should say. it only works single player. again i have done the "-console -devmode" with the " and without them and with spaces and without and a whole lot. i put this at the end of "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -console -devmode

i have a lcd flat screen monitor from microtek. it is a 815c model. my problem is that when i turn my computer on it seems to be shifted useally to the right. i have to turn the monitor off and on to get it back to normal position. and it does this when i go to play games to. i have a 256 geforce fx graphics card. as well as my original card built in. it does this on both.

ok so i just got a new graphics card. cheap and i dont have a lot of money. i got a geforce 256 mb fx 5200 for pci slot. i had a intel 64 graphics card that was built in and came with my hp computer. my new graphics card is great and in halo i can see the colors of everyone. the only thing is when i snipe and zoom in everything is blurry? my old card made everything stay the same just zoomed in. i think the outside part was dark too. this one i can see everything on the whole screen just very blurry? any one have the same problem and was able to fix?

i have 2 laptops i am thinking about. here are the details for each. on the first one i can downsize to windows xp if i want to. for the second one i cant. the video cards are set so i cant change them. the intel is for a gforce and the amd is for a ati. i want to play games. mostly shooter games and sports games. i have a laptop now but it chops up when playing like black hawk down. when you are shooting the 50 cal from hummer. and when playing sports games like madden 03 it starts to go in slow motion. it has a gig of ram, windows xp, 2.2 ghz, amd athlon 64. ati radeon 9700 128 video card. 60 gig hard drive at 7200 rpm. the 2 i am looking at cause i 2000 dollars so far are from ibuypower and are as follows.

for the most part this is towards mormons. why because they use the KJV however they claim it is not correct in many parts. so why not make your own Bible then that wont contradict what you believe. and that is true and correct as far as mormons are concerened. why cont. with the KJV. i mean you guys already made a seperate book of mormon. i mean why use the Bible that clearly says there is one God and that God knows of no others and that there is none before him and there will be none after him. but then you guys preach that you will become a god one day. just curious. i asked a couple mormon people and they have no answere. catholics did it.

then you would not have to use other books to prove you are right. that is my biggest thing with mormons. they have to use these other books that are not the Bible to prove stuff. because they cant prove it with the Bible they use. which so happens to be what i use.
