i would like to know what one i should get. i want to beable to play cod4 maybe even crysis. i believe they all will play. crysis says you need 2.2 ghz or faster dual core. however it is centrino and i believe the 1.83 would equal about a 2.2 or faster intel. not sure. but for price and gaming which should i go for. if i could i rather pay for the 1000 dollar one but if need to i will upgrade. i am going to Iraq. if the cheaper one will or could play cod4 fairly good then probally get it. thank you for imput. there are 3 totall i am thinking about.

best buy the 2 are Asus - Laptop with Intel® Centrino® Processor Technology

Model: M50Sv-X2 | SKU: 8761217

and Asus - Laptop with Intel® Centrino® Processor Technology G1Sn-X1

Update 10:

ibuypower.com is the other site and is for Battalion 101 M570RU Notebook and then the stuff i added for it.

Update 14:

thank you i figured it was way better plus the speed. just was wondering however for price, that was close to 2800. is it worth getting that for the games i would want to play. or will the other 2 work just fine. i know the 8800 is one of the top cards out right now

Update 15:

and i was going with the 200gb because of the rpm. if you go to the site the higher hd are for 5400 rpm. and i dont support the war either. i am in and doing my job but dont mean i agree with the war and thank you for the support

Update 16:

i also have a 150 gb hard drive right now that is external. not sure what the speed is for it. however again i can by an external if i need it later. i useally like to play a couple games at a time. some of my other games run fine with my hd. like right now i am into black hawk down which does not take a whole lot at all. my desktop i have a geforce 5200 card and it runs great on high resolution. i might get crysis or cod4. i still might get the more expencive if all goes good and i get the money. however if i am strapped for cash would the other 2 work? or 1 of the 2 cheaper ones work. and if so which one or will both work.

Update 17:

i was wondering cause the cheaper 2 both had good reviews. so if i get the money go for the higher priced if i dont them maybe the 1300 one but not the 1000 dollar one.

Update 18:

or also do you know any other laptop that would fit what i would like that is not way up in price. most prices i found for the ibuypower one wanted 4000 or more for the same specs. but if you know a great laptop that is cheap and can play cod4 or crysis great please tell.

Update 19:

i heard it was. and i know laptops are not as good as desktops. however the ibuypower one should run it with the specs i said. downsizing will save a little and i can do that too. i stopped at 2.5 because then it jumps by like 300 dollars to a 2.6. and from the 2.2 or whatever to the 2.5 it was only like 150 dollars. the card i heard that it takes 2 8600 to equal the 1 8800 card. sounds like i probally will get the ibuypower one if i get the money. i can also take out the extra battarie and extras too.

Since the main purpose appears to be gaming, the last one from ibuypower is the best choice. It's not even close, really.

The 8800M GTX graphics card is leaps and bounds above the 9500M G or 9500M GS.

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_8800m.html

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_9500m_gs.html

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_9500m_g.html

The ibuypower also has a larger screen, and the faster HD is a plus. You can always buy an external HD if you need more space.

Whether or not it's worth it is really up to you. If this will be your only computer, gaming is your hobby, and if you can afford $2800, then it's worth it.

If you HAD to pick between the two from BestBuy, get the M50Sv-X2. I wouldn't get too excited about the gaming, but it's quite better than the other model.

You could also downgrade the ibuypower to the 8700m GT card, and downgrade the CPU a notch or two. It will still do decent gaming, but keep in mind, Crysis is the #1 graphic intensive game right now. There isn't much out there short of top-notch hardware that can run it with all the bells and whistles.

You probably won't find a company much cheaper than ibuypower. cyberpower is comparable:

For laptop gaming, an upper-end video card, CPU, and lots of RAM is gonna cost you at least $2000. Anything less than that, you will have to make sacrifices in the quality of your graphics settings. You may not be able to use full resolution, or anti-aliasing, etc. Though the game will still play.

As far as Crysis goes Crytek (the German company that created Crysis) stated at the time of its release that about 50% of pc computers won't be able to run it properly. So, I suggest you get the fastest processor you can afford. I would also stick with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and a 250 or 320 GB Hard Drive. Again, go as big as you can afford.
