I game on a laptop. when I play games the fps drops 5 or so fps and keeps fluctuating.?

Update:

I use a asus G751 laptop with a gtx 965m. for example. playing cod4, I have it set to 125 fs. it will fluctuate between that and like 118 fps. the weird thing is that I can run the game at a higher fps. so I can set to 150 fps. and then it will do the same. will drop to 143 or so.

does it in other games as well like csgo and other cod games.

    You are worried about the loss of 5 FPS and you still have over 100?

    Be grateful. Pretty much, anything over 60 is a bonus. You're not going to be losing anything as long as you are at or above 60, as that's what most games render at, or at least try to.
