I've found that most vibrations at speed come from improper tire pressure, crappy handlebars, bent rims, or poor suspension set-up in other words frame/chassis related. If he's feeling engine vibs, well tough sh!t, that's the engine and he's either pushing it too hard or in the wrong gear!
