PS3 Controller?
If you plug the PS3 standard controller into the USB. Will it charge the controller while the PS3 is in standby mode with the red LED on, or does the PS3 have to be in ON mode (green LED). Thanks.

You have to have it on (Green LED) for it to charge. When you have it turned off/stand by mode (red LED) it will not charge!

You can't charge your controller while the PS3 on standby mode, you must turn on the PS3 to charge your controller.

as long as the ps3 is turned on it will charge. Standby mode will charge it. Mine does .
