Have you been ripped off by retail?

I purchased a dress from Bellissima Boutique in Mississauga the dress was 49.99 she charged me 149.99 and refused to do a refund or correction. Has anyone else been ripped off by this company? Does anyone in Ontario Canada know who to contact so I can get my money back? Also is it against the law for someone to take the price tag off so to hide the price that was originally being charged? Is so who do I contact?

Did you take it to the owner? I would contact the Better business bureau, and Silverman helps from cp24.

I'll see if I can find anything else to help you (im in toronto)

Do you have Trading Standards? Do you still have the receipt? If so, take both to your Trading Standards office and tell them what happened. As for removing the price tag to hide the actual cost, that most certainly is against the law. Good luck.

  • How did you pay this ? If you paid with credit card, just call your credit card company. I had similar situation like you years ago. The credit card company is on my side fortunately and helped me out to straight it out. Wish you the best of luck.
