After Success in Paris how will you be showing the Chinese Govt what you think of their human rights abuses???

In Paris the torch relay was disrupted and had to be called off.

Clearly the French have taken a stand against the brutality of the Chinese.

They were granted the Olympic Games on the understanding they would be more humane but the Tibetan incident has shown they have reneged on the agreement.

Maybe a boycott is in order.

Update:

Dear AA, my flatmate has been to Tibet twice. I have no reaon not to believe what she has seen and heard.

Same as the last five years, the only tangible and guaranteed action that is availible to every man, woman and child who does not want to embrace, encourage and support Chinese atrocities against humanity.

    Dont buy Chinese products.

    Boycott stores that do.

Expose "reputable"brands that disguise Chinese products with their premium brands to charge a fortune for cheap goods and distance themselves from the bloodshed.

Forget appealing to consciences, there is big money to be made here, by Governments, Banks, Retailers and Investors. Only when we stop lining their pockets will they bring about change.

UNTIL WE ALL STOP BUYING CHINESE GARBAGE IN THE HIGH STREET AND FINANCING THE CHINESE REGIME WITH THE MONEY THAT FUNDS THE ATROCITIES NOTHING WILL CHANGE.

If anything is to be achieved by the Olympic protests we all need to stop talking and start acting.

Yeah and Sarkozy has already told the Chinese that he will not be at the opening ceremony in Pekin....ooops...Bejing.

When the late Mao Tzedung was asked, "and what do you think of the French Revolution?" - he replied, "it's too early to say".

Seems to me the Chinese have missed the point. While their Red Revolution is dead the French Revolution continues a-pace.

I am grateful to the Citizens of Paris for their firm stand against the Chinese occupation of Tibet.

Here in London we tried out best, but it was a bit muddled, as per usual. Our plan was to allow the supporter of Tibet full voice - I hope the message got through, but somehow doubt it.

The Chinese fascist press told the world that we Londoners were annoyed with the Tibetans for spoiling the Olympic Flame run through London.

    Duh?

    Olympic Flame through London>>>>????

The entire cobblers surrounding the Olympic Games is just a bunch of Nazi fascist crap created by the same bunch of bone head Nazis who goosteped over the human race killing millions in their progress.

    YouTube - Olympic Games. Berlin 1936. 200m Men's Final.

Track and Field Video. Olympic Games. Berlin 1936.200m Men's Final 1. Owens

    Jesse (USA) - 20.7 2. Robinson Mack (USA) - 21.3 3. Osendarp Martinus (NED) - 21 ...

Jesse Owens three times Gold Olympian.

All the junk associated with the Olympic Games, the lighting of the Olympic Flame at Olympia, the five rings and such. It's all a load of Nazi crap.

Likewise the running of the Olympic Flame through our towns and cities actually dates back to year 2000.

    Some ancient ceremony????

I'm not impressed and will NOT be watching the Bayjunger Olympix here in my house.

Down with China - get out of Tibet now....!!

I would be very proud if Americans do the same thing when the torch comes to San Francisco, it's only North American stop.

Still, with what the Bush administration is doing in Guantanamo and around the world, It's hard to to feel just a little hypocritical about it. Who are we to criticize when we're killing so many innocent people and imprisoning people with no trial?

But I am not my government. I will try to do what's right not matter what my current administration is doing.

If the torch were comeing here to LA, then I probably would turn out to protest. I don't think I'd try to grab it and extinguish it myself, but I sure hope someone more physically able does try it.

The fire extinguisher is an awesome idea. Very symbolic!

I have decided not to watch the Olympics or purchase any Olympic memrobillia in protest. It is pretty hard to protest any other way. Everything you could possibly buy is made in China so boycotting Chinese goods would make your life quite hard (and the Chinese know this) so I am boycotting the Olympics myself, not like that is gonna do any good, but it's a start.

I may go to a candle lit peace vigil in London later in the month. Disrupting the olympic faggott trot has shown the world that China is no place for freedom of speech whatever propagander they attempt to deceive us with.

i can't believe they were given the olympics in the first place, but i'm so glad countries other than tibet who's being slandered by chinese press, of course, are standing up for this. i think it's an atrocity tht the olympic committee gave in to whatever bribes they gave to give them all the income an economic benefit the games will bring when their human rights are so substandard. i actually hope they get cancelled although it would be a shame for the athletes.

Letting China hold 2008 Olympics is the biggest mistake in the history of Olympics.

Boycott the 0lympics. Do NOT buy their cheap goods (if you won't do that, then the rest is all talk) Write to their Embassy.

I thoroughly agree with a boycott - but I just wonder if it were US in the UK having OUR human rights denied how many of THEM would be supporting us........

    Not many I fear !
