If you have modified the document did you save the changes to the new document under a new name? I suspect that as the original is still intact that you did not overwrite this file. So either you have not saved the changes when modified the document or you have saved it in another location. The printer does not hold a history of printed documents.

To find out what’s happened use the search facility: Start- Search - Search Files or Folders. Down the left hand pane choose ‘All Files and Folders’ option. In the box that says, ‘A word or phrase in the file’, type in a word or a couple of words that appear somewhere in that document you are searching for. Click the Search button. This should find all the documents that contain this word or expression.

You can narrow down the search by being a little more specific with the word or expression found only in that document. If you have not located the file, you can assume the changes have not been saved.

Tip: Open My Document and click on the Date field heading. This will list all files in date order, experiment!

There is no recorded list of what you actually print. All you can do is open a window to show your recent files and change view to details so you see the dates and times you last modified them but it doesn't actually say whether you printed or not.

Try looking in the Recent documents folder.

Welcome to the international of computer technicians. while somebody calls me in to paintings on a working laptop or computer, and that is a few thing that demands a llittle analyze, it immediately turns into my fault the computer won't paintings. you do not point out what the computer is or isn't doing so i'm unable to help you paintings out what's inflicting the situation. Avast antivirus is loose, and could guard the computer without interfering together with his fetish, except the area has malware or scareware or undercover agent ware. you're leaping to conclusions, as you're saying "he needless to say thinks it won't enable him to pass into his stupid little porno web pages". good success
