If your looking for large antlered deer then I would apply for a hunt in the kaibab area of Arizona and north into Utah. There are a good number of large, and non typical deer in that area.... I'd bet they have the largest population of large deer in the US..... Course, they are not as plentyful as they use to be... but there are alot. They say many of them grow this way because of the minerial content in the water in that area... Check it out..... there are several areas, the northern being the best....

i would have to say texas all the way. They have some monster deer and the chances of taking one are higher than normal. There are so many nice deer in Texas, they have great body size and the rack on them is tremendous. But as for region, stay north and u will be good, i live in FL and hunt all over the country. Southern deer have nothing on deer up north or in Texas.

It depends on the deer you're hunting. White-tail, black-tail, sitka, mule deer....Lots of different kinds. And lots of states have big buck populations, you just need to know where to go. As a rule of thumb, though, northern states have bigger critters. So go north.

Big deer as in body size? Go to the midwest states where row crops are plentiful.

Big bucks: same areas, but also add Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan, Canada has some of the largest natural white-tailed deer in the world. I would suggest you try to come up here and try your hand at that, you won't be sorry.

this may be a no longer undemanding question, it starts off with what variety of deer searching you prefer to do? Archery, Black Powder, Rifle, Pistol. while you're thinking of shorter variety searching alongside with Archery, black powder of pistol then it quite is quite useful to to perform a little trekking on county land it quite is around the place you reside to locate a gently wooded ridge. as quickly as I hunt with my black powder rifle I take a seat in a ladder stand on the precise of a ridge it quite is in a mild pine woodland on the sting of a tamarack swamp. If i decide directly to seek with my rifle I take a seat in my ladder stand on the sting of a corn field next to a u-formed recessed area of the sphere. in case you do no longer comprehend all of us that owns a field like this many circumstances you may ask a farmer in case you may hunt his land.
