Do I replace my Sirius radio or wait?
I have a Sirius Starmate Replay 2. The audio output has finally broke due to moving it from the car, to the house, to the boombox too many times. It is out of warranty and Sirius doesn't fix them. I would need to take it to a tv repair place and it would cost me about $60 just to have that one piece soldered. I am using the FM transmitter right now, which really stinks, that's why I started using the audio output jack with a cassette adapter in the first place.
I have purchased what I thought was a new one on-line, but it didn't work. I had to pay for shipping it back and a 20% restocking fee. There is another radio, the Streamer GTR which is the sister unit the the Starmate Replay, but I they're about $100.
I'll be purchasing a new car in the next 3 or 4 months that will have a Sirius radio factory installed. I'm trying to avoid buying new docking stations and a boombox which only those two radios are compatable with. Should I wait until I buy the car, or buy a cheap one to get by?

Cosidering how much it seems you use your Sirius outside of your car I would buy a unit that tou can use in your home and your car.
If you just used sirius in yout car I would of said yto wait until you get a new car but thats not the case
