Explain the term Bisexual to me.?

People have different beliefs about what a bisexual is. I believe a bisexual is someone who is capable of having relationships with either a male or a female.

There are many bisexuals who eventually go with just one sex if they prefer one sex much more than the other. But there are some bisexuals who are happy having relationships with both males and females. Most bisexuals I have ever met eventually go with just one sex when they get older because most adult committed relationships just work better when they are one-on-one, and bisexuals often discover they can't have both or even want both, once they fall in love with one person.

The greedy ones are the those who cheat or expect their partners to be faithful to them while they have have other sex partners. Some bisexuals ARE greedy or selfish with their terms in a relationship, but there are some who can commit to one person forever. If you date a bisexual, make sure you both discuss the terms of the relationship before you decide to agree.

Bisexuals are people who are able to form relationships with either sex.

A man having sex with a woman would be engaged in a heterosexual act. A man having sex with another man would be engaged in a homosexual act. The same with relationships. A bisexual can be fully (emotionally, physically, romantically, etc.) engage in either.

People who practice monogamy by definition can only be involved with one person. So it is often hard for outsiders to see that one or even both of those people could be bi.

How is being bi any more greedy than any other sexual orientation? Some people behave badly in relationships. Sexual orientation has nothing to do with predicting whether someone will act selfishly in a relationship. Bisexual people are just as capable of commitment to one person as any one else.

Bisexual means that you are attracted to either gender. It does not mean you are attracted to *everyone* of the other gender. It does not mean that you have a boyfriend and girlfriend at the same time. You don't have to have had an intimate relationship with either one, actually.

I'll have you know that I am bi, and have known this since I was 13. I am NOT "greedy" and I am NOT "confused". I have had two boyfriends. My current relationship has lasted 17 years. I have not had a girlfriend, and I am not looking for one.

Bisexual is interested in both male and female equally. Straight is interested only in the opposite gender. Bi curious is interested primarily in the opposite gender, but is open minded and curious about experimenting with the same gender. The bi-curious attraction is not equally strong between genders like the bisexual attraction.

its true we all have our own beliefs on the term bisexual, but also for me. bisexual is when someone likes both sexes the same. they wont chose one over the other. and they have a relationship with both mayb not the same time but may b with a girl once and then a guy another..

Sexual orientation is not an absolute value. Rather, it is simply a measurement of how attracted you are to the opposite sex as well as how attracted you are to the same.

Someone can be completely attracted to both, or neither. Or, mostly to one, a bit to the other, or any of infinite degrees between.

bisexual is one who can enjoy dating and having sex with either a man or a woman, homosexualism and heterosexualism are respectively exclusive sexualities, in homosexualism you exclusively have sex with the same sex, in hetero you exclusively have sex with the opposite sex.

homo=equal

hetero=different

bi=two

no nobody chooses, even if you're attracted to both and you only have sex with one you're still bi, on the other hand if you're gay and you have had sex with members of the opposite gender, you're still gay

bi is when you can do it with both sexes. its not greedy, they are just confused. most people dont stay bi.

Bisexuality is condemned by God.
