Do all Jews have to say the same thing and think the same way?
I have been getting violation notices, and have had my questions delted, and I have had less than pleasant emails sent to me from other members of Yahoo Answers. Is there some reason for this? Or do we all have to think and say the same things?

It's normal. After losing my third account, I don't care about violation notices anymore. Let them report us as much as they want. We can always create new accounts and come back. They can't prevent us from stating our opinion and they can't force us to believe everything they say. I am talking about everybody here not only the Jews. Some of the Arabs/Muslims are being rude too and they, just like the Jews, report everybody who disagrees with them.
From now on whenever you receive a violation notice, create a new account. Once you use 100 accounts at the same time, people will realize that reporting is no benefit and they will stop reporting you.
Cheers
Mr.X,
most of my posts are not offensive at all but I get reported. The person who reports me doesn't report me because I offended him/her but because they hate me personally and want to get rid of me. People on this section are going to die of animosity.

1. Judaism doesn't go out seeking converts. 2. Judaism doesn't preach to anyone. 3. Judaism doesn't believe that it is the only right religion and that the others are wrong. 3. Judaism believes that all people who follow the pathways of the 7 Noahide Laws, no matter what culture, religion, race, or nation they are from, they will merit their place in the World To Come. Since the Noahide Laws are already found in every culture and religion and most people follow them, this is why Judaism has no need to go out and try to convert people to Judaism. There is simply no need to do that. This is also why Judaism doesn't go around saying it is the only right religion. You kind of sound like you don't know very much about Judaism, like you think it is basically the same as Christianity. Actually every belief in Judaism is pretty much the opposite of Christianity. No eternal hellfire, no Original Sin, the Jewish Messiah isn't killed for anyone's sins nor is he anyone's savior (remember the Noahide Laws are the pathways for everyone), Judaism has reincarnation instead of eternal burning hell, and on and on and on with the differences. And with all those differences, the only thing Judaism does with them is try to keep Christianity from imposing their changes they made to all those things (and more), on Jews. EDIT: TO WALTER: Try learning what Jews believe from JEWS, rather than from the new testament. Jews have an *extremely* strong faith in God, if they didn't they would have disappeared by now rather than outlasting every nation and religion that has rose up against them to wipe them out, including Christianity. Jews pray to God three times a day, formally, and say blessings to God literally dozens of times a day on everything from eating to washing their hands to going to the bathroom, to seeing a rainbow or anything else. They think about God ALL the time. Which is a lot more than can be said of most Christians. Be careful what you believe from the new testament about Jews. Most of it is highly inaccurate historically and religiously, and very detrimental, slanderous and untrue.

We dont all think and act the same way. I don't know much about violation notices but I am sorry you are getting unpleasant emails. That is not nice or call for.
I like diversity myself.
How do you know they are Jews by the way. I believe you I just wondered how you knew?

You don't get as many violation notices as me, I can assure you. Literally EVERY single time I post anything in this forum, I get a flood of violations.
Perhaps people have a problem with you because while claiming to be Jewish, you in fact make many remarks that are very similar to the spiteful and unfair things that people like MAYA say. MAYA, for example, is a person who deliberately MISdefined Purim in R&S and tried to make it sound like something wicked. Fortunately, most people now recognise her, or him, for what they are.

I just got a death threat so don't take it too hard when it comes to derogatory emails.. Zionists are hard-core ideologues and that is a type that will brook no diversity of opinion: you have The Official Line and that my friend is that. As to the general thrust of your question, virtually all Jewish historians agree that the Jewish people have always exhibited a very heightened degree of solidarity which in modern terms manifests itself as an extreme version of Group-think. It is rare to meet a Jew who is lacking in independent-mindedness,as long as a subject does not touch upon anything intrinsically Jewish. If it does, the tendency is to play Musketeer - one for all,all for one. David Bialle is a professor of Jewish Studies at UC Berkeley who explored this cultural trait with great insight in his classic 1986 study of the Jewish exercise of power. I highly recommend it to you.

judaism promotes free thinking and questioning every issue that is raised (unlike some other religions).
however, if someone asks just in order to provoke and not to be constructive, people tend to ignore him and let others know he's to be ignored in order to save other people from wasting their time on that person.
edit:
the thumbs down that i got or get just show how intolerant some people on this section can be.
