crosby or ovechkin?

hey man i depends wat you are lookin for. crosby is a WAY better team player. he actually passes lol. crosby over ovechkin any day.

BUT...ovechkin is a goal scorer...so some people would argue with me

crosby is better, ovechkin had a better year this year but crosby's amazing. Ovechkin doesn't make his team better. Being a better player has little to do with how much they score. Ovechkin scores, and that's about it. Crosby scores slightly less, but has many, MANY more assists than Ovechkin. Hockey is more than just scoring, and Crosby is well-rounded. Ovechkin is one dimensional. That's why Crosby is the best player today.

Crosby.....in my opinion. You could probably make it a 3-way question and throw Malkin in there also perhaps.

Its funny.....in their rookie years, if you asked people "Who is the better player?", the general public would be split 50-50 on the question. Last year, everyone thought Crosby was better, probably by an 80-20 margin. In 07-08....Ovechkin has a huge year+Sid the Kid was injured......back to 50-50 again.

The only things I know for sure:

1)The next 10-15 years watching these two play are gonna be great!

2)They are both incredible players.

3)Only time will tell who the better player is.

They are both great players however ,I think the top three players in the NHL are in order

Ovechkin, Malkin, Crosby

Ovechkin because of his stats, young and just learning the ropes of the NHL however he has already carried his team to a playoff spot without a question in my mind, the caps would not have made the playoffs with out him. He leads the NHL in goals and points.

Malkin because he carried the pens on his back when Sidney was injured. He proved that he is one hell of a player and can do just as much as Crosby, and he doesn't get any where as much media coverage as Sid.

Crosby because he still put up good stats even with missing many games, however I think Crosby is very over rated.

Ovechkin is much better than Crosby.

Crosby, Ovechkin jus got a really good run this year.

Ovechkin only has the scoring title cause he puts so many pucks on the net... not that he isn't amazing to watch, and full of fire, but Crosby is a more well rounded player, with a great attitude and incredible instincts. If he hadn't been injured...
