What is your favourite local or exotic bird? bred or seen?
My favorites are wild free flying Australian sea eagles (effortless gliding), black cockatoes (allways fly in 2s 0r 3s) plus the small wren/ finch size Willy Wagtails that dart and fly around my feet, for insects when i mow the lawn.
My farorite caged birds are the dozen white, yellow or green avairy bred budgies that land on my sholders & head when i check their nest or give them spinage.

I love seeing Wild Cockatoos and Galahs.

The Toucan! How about that beak!? Contrary to popular belief they do NOT eat Fruit Loops. Only fresh grapes and other fruits. Plus they are fairly friendly birds, but only a very few can have them. They are very expensive and an endangered species in many countries.
