Dull ache in lower abdomen at 16 weeks.?
On saturday, I had a dull ache in my lower abdomen. It lasted all day. And came back off and on, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and I haven't really noticed it today. What could this be and should I call me doctor?
I also have had a back ache since saturday that I can't get rid of?
I'm 16 weeks pregnant, and have had no bleeding or spotting.

I am having this same thing. I have been having a dull ache in the right side of my uterus for the last two days. My doctor tells me that this is normal uterine streching. Of course I am worrying anywway. I am thirteen weeks along with my first baby. I have read comments from many women on various sites that are having this same problem so I guess we will all be alright. Google it! You'd be surprised at how many people you will find with this problem. It makes me feel better to know that I am not alone. I hope this helps. Also remember, not many people miscarry @ 16 weeks or anytime after the first trimester actually. We will both be fine. Good luck and baby dust!

Pregnancy causes all kinds of aches and pains. Your body is stretching and growing right along with the baby. As long as you're not in severe pain and there's been no bleeding, it's just part of the package! (It gets a lot worse towards the end! :P)
Of course, if you think it's something more serious it wouldn't hurt to put a call in to your doctor.

the dull ache is probably the ligaments stretching. the back ache could be a number of things though. i know being pregnant makes you more prone to backaches. but if youre worried, call the doctor. that is what they are there for. no one here can say for sure
