2. the 2-4 New York Mets

3. the fact i haven't asked a Cubs question in DAAAAAYS

The Cardinals with their surprised pitching, but i'll tell you who'll be NL's biggest surprised by Season's end.....The Cincinatti Reds.

Thats right, you heard it here! The reds will be contending in September, they might not win the Central, but they'll be in the hunt.

The Reds not only have the good hitting already at GAB, they've got super Larry Walker clone prospect Jay Bruce waiting at Triple-A and with young guns like Cueto and Volquez and World propsect Homer Bailey waiting at Triple-A....the Reds will shock everyone as soon as this year.

The Tigers are, hands down the biggest shocker. But the NL, the Mets are overrated, man. They have the most aged ridden and injury prone team. The Giants are old as well. The Cardinals do not surprise me, since they actually do have a solid squad.

    The biggest surprise.. is FUKUDOME!

Im not saying this due to your love and passion for the Cubbies. Im saying this because usually the asian players we get are either over-priced, suck altogether, or both.

He has lit up pitchers left and right, and continues to be a dominant factor in that lineup.

A very, very close second is Justin Upton. I picked him to be really good, but being at 20, and the stats he has up now... should not go unheard.

As for teams.. nah.. I picked the Padres and D-backs as the teams to beat in the whole league (along with the Tigers but I give up on that). The Mets and Phils are

    O-VER-RA-TED!

    *clap clap, clap clap clap!*

Source(s): Some of you guys really need to quit with the "Marlins are this and that" crap. They lost Miguel Cabrera, which is big, but not even he gave them a winning record. A healthy Hermida can easily complete 2/3 of what Miguel Cabrera did. Cameron Maybin, De Aza, and one of the best SS the game has seen in years, Ramirez. What the Marlins need is pitching, because the potential that Miller has obviously is not as high as people expect.

I'm going to go with 3. Just because the Cubs take a day off, doesn't mean you get to!

But on the others, 1 and 2, just as I'm sure the Mets are going to do awesome this season, I'm sure the Cardinals will fade away by summer. 4...I can't wait for the Tigers to win a game just to shut people up. 5. Other - Fukudome and his @sskicking debut!

The biggest surprise for me so far is the fact that the Marlins are leading the NL East. I mean ARod will make more money this season than the entire Marlin team, yet they are still a very competitive team. Heck, they're supposed to be fighting to keep off the cellar floor, yet they're in first place...I know it's early, but it's definitly still surprising.

The most pleasant surprise has been the emergence of two quality starters for the Red Johnny Cueto and Volquez. THe most unusual surprise is the fact you haven't asked a Cubs question in days!!!

    2 but they'll come around.

st louis and their garbage pitchers always start out well, but suck later in the year. they have had easy competition thus far. take kip wells for example, he did great in the beginning of the year and everyone said he is going to meet expectations, and he ended the year with a 5+ era again. i knew the tigers would suck without pitching, but i didn't think winless first week. i thought they would have won with verlander or robertson's start. i guess not. the orioles with a 6-1 record is pretty crazy so far, but that is AL. wow the marlins are doing great!

I think it's the Marlins 4-3 start. It doesn't suprise me that they can win, because their young talent will win them a pennant down the road. I think it's because they are in one of the toughest divisions in the Majors. There are huge expectations from Atl Braves, Philly's and the Met's yet Marlins are right in that core.

In the AL there is no doubt Baltimore is the biggest suprise by far. I think they made a pact with the devil this year not to be in the toilet. They should live it up right now because they won't be able to tout "Best Record in Baseball" for much longer.

I have to go with an individual in the NL I have to say at first I was skeptical about Fukudome but he appears to be doing good now and I think he will contribute well to the team.
