OK well if you are in Word you can go to insert symbol and then look through to find the fraction symbol of one number directly over another.
Although I would think typing fractions like this (1/2 or 1/3) should be perfectly acceptable.

My keyboard only has the % sign on the five key, but if its the € key you are after, then try pressing Alt Gr, on the right of the space bar. If this doesn't work, try going to Insert Symbol on MS Word and looking for it there, then just copy and paste it to where you want it, hope this helps.

1/2, 2/3, 3/4...this doesn't seem so hard.
There are two keys with this the "fraction" symbol on them. One next to right shift, the other above the 8 on the number pad.

Use Character Map > Programs > Accessories > System Tools. Hightlight the character and it will give you Alt and the numeric number code
