Do you understand the point of this narrative poem?

In the wind...

there blows

a seed...

though tossed

and thrown

with every gust, within its heart there knows a need...

and it releases

fear...

to trust...

Just seeking life...

at some point

in time

to rest secure

in Mother Earth...

within its bosom, safe

and sublime...

lies secure the

purpose

of its

birth...

And

until nature,

who

sets the laws

and makes real

that life

within...

allows effect

to meet with

cause,

in a place where fate does send...

Just a crack

in stone...

so cold

and bare...

sharing only with windblown soil...

it finds its place,

not much

to share...

a just reward

for lack

of toil..

But with

purpose unfolding

in the light....

it gives of itself

what little there is...

and determined

to make it’s

purpose right,

receives it’s life

from a

rain-sent

kiss...

Many teardrops

give to this

seed

the basic elements of life...

and with the soil,

they satisfy it’s needs...

in spite of

circumstance

or strife

I think that the seed symbolizes laziness, which is finally rewarded by getting to sprout in a crack in the concrete, representing the lazy one's niche. Then the lazy seed shapes up its act and is rewarded by getting cried on, symbolizing the ultimate futility of our human--or in this case radixoid--nature. I'm not sure what the excessive ellipses and forced rhymes signify, though....
