In the US, a high school diploma only means you will be flipping burgers.

Community college is better, but a real university is best. Dont think you cant get into a 4 year university just because of your grades. If your grades are no good, you wont be getting into Yale or Harvard, but your state university will more than likely be glad to accept you, sometimes with academic probations or something if your grades are that poor.

Also a regular B.S. or B.A. is becoming so common now, that you almost need a masters for any difficult field.

If money is important to you then a high school diploma really isnt worth the paper it is printed on anymore.

I am currently in university and have a burger flipping type job to pay for it. No student loans. You have to work harder, but it will pay off in the end.

It's not in health care, but you can become a water plant operator with a high school diploma and earn a good income. You would start as a trainee, and eventually study to get your "C" license. You would work your way up to a "B" license, and then "A" license. This would take a few years. The work is not stressful. You need to have good knowledge in math.

Better salaries are in larger metropolitain areas. Example: Miami-Dade Water & Sewer.
